tl;dr this site doesn’t track you for ads. no selling data, no shady stuff. only minimal data needed to make the site work.
what is stored in your browser
the site uses local storage for essential preferences only. example: remembering that you’ve already seen an animation so it doesn’t replay on every visit. this data never leaves your device and contains no personal information.
i do not set tracking cookies. if a cookie ever appears, it will be strictly necessary for a core feature and not for advertising or profiling.
analytics
right now this site does not use analytics. if i add them in the future, they will be limited to privacy-respecting tools (for example, software that doesn’t set tracking cookies and doesn’t share data with advertisers). the goal is to understand broad site usage, not to profile individuals.
what i collect on the server
standard web server logs record basic request data (ip address, user agent, requested url, timestamp) for security and reliability. logs are rotated and purged on a regular schedule and aren’t used to build profiles.
forms and email
if you submit a form, the data you provide is used only to respond to your request. it’s not added to a mailing list or shared with third parties. if you want it deleted, ask and i’ll remove it.
third-party services
by default, pages avoid third-party embeds that phone home. if a page needs a third-party resource (for example, a map, video, or font), it will be included only when necessary and loaded with privacy in mind.

- turn off animations: set your system to “reduce motion” and the site will respect it.
